What did you like about the book?
The thing I liked about this book was about how all of the family sticks together except for the older brother that is 13 years old and is a official a juvenile delinquent. The reason i like this is because he is kind of like my oldest sister. I can relate to this family alot because all my family sticks up for eachother as well as the watson family
What is the book about?
The book is about a black family of five that live in Flint Michigan. All of them go to a school called Clark Elementry.The school bully is Larry dunn, he is the "king" of the scool. Byron the brother of Kenny and Joetta is the god of the school because he is the oldest and the strongest in the 6th grade and all of the school.
The part where I am at right now is when Kenny finds a dollar on the ground and gets to excited and shows everyone. Larry grabbed the dollar from him and said he had lost fifty cents. They went to the store and changed the dollar for fifty cents. After Kenny says that if Byron want at that school larry would have took the whole dollar.
