CHAPTER 11 CASTLE ROCK

In the beggining of the chapter, ralph tells piggy to use the conch to call a meating. The reason


that Jack is willing to give piggy back his glasses. Is because piggy cant see without his glasses.


When ralph goes and approches jack he wants yo look normal again and not like jack and his


tribe looking all trucently. On the appoach to castle rock ralph roger gets in the way, and makes


everybody elsecessation. What provokes jack to fight is that he calls him a thief. When Jack


appears, he is delirius because hes been hunting and he caught a pig. After the fight sam and eric


get caught and tied up by the hunters. While Jack is talking to piggy roger throws rocks at piggy


but misses on purpose.


The person who is responsible for piggys death is jack, If he wouldnt have influenced all of his


cordon to be so vicious and to be like wolves and for them to be uluation. Roger was the one who


pushed the rock but jack is probably the one who told him too. This forshadows alot more killing


on the island.

Chapter 10 The Shell And The Glasses

Im Simon and I am dead now. I want to talk about whats going on, on the island since I have


been gone. ALot of people are sad that I am dead. Then there are people like Jack that dosent


even care. I kind of like that Jack doent care hat I am dead. When I was alive I liked people


happy and nice to eachother. Not like they are right now with all of the fighting that jack and


ralph are doing. Another thing I dont like is what Piggy said about me. He is trying to blame it on


me about what happen to me. Ralph is the other way around though he said it was an accident


too, but hes talking about murder and hes putting himself down too much .Jack is saying that I


was the beastie though, and thats making me the most mad. Another thing that I dont like is


how jack made his own tribe. Now they think they are all tough and are planning on attaking


Ralphs tribe.

Chapter 8 and 9

In this chapter there was allot of violence and commotion. Since the kids made the pole with the


pigs head on it( Lord Of The Flies ), everything has gone crazy. First of all Simon thinks hes


hearing the pig speak to him and Jack thinks that the Lord Of The Flies should be gift for the


"beastie". Simon has gone a little bit crazy and think lord of the flies is talking to him. Simon says


that the pig is haunting him. It is saying that " He is still inside of all of the kids and he is not

dead yet. Another thing that happen in chapter 8 is that Simon finds out about the dead aviator


and trys to tell Ralph and jack about it. The whole group is falling apart now. Jack and Ralph split


Tribes and they are still fighting over who's leader. All of these are really kind of scaring the


whole tribe because of all the fighting and stuff. This is not how they wanted it to go. They might


not survive or get rescued if they keep acting like this. I think that Simon's death was very


brutal. I also think it was an accident though. It was kind of his fault. Like Piggy said he had no


business running out of the woods like that and screaming, of coarse they are going to react like


they did. It also is sad though how Jack is showing no pity whats so ever towards Simon's death.


I think that this is mainly jacks fault for what happened to Simon because he encouraged it. If he


Had said get the beastie and start killing him maybe he would still be alive.

CHAPTER 7
SHADOWS AND TALL TREES
CHARACTER: PIGGY
Dear diary,


Today on the island there was allot of commotion. Everybody was so crazy about Ralph hitting

the pig, I think that he is going to start to act like jack because he knows how he fells with all of

the adrenalin. The game that the boys are playing is not really sagely and windy because they


could have poked Robert and hurt him. Rugger was more safe than that. Everybody was acting

all crazy and I was dun. That was really stupid what Jack suggested we should do to the

littleuns. I think that this foreshadows that there is going to start to be some killing and

cannibalism. The evidence that they found that there was a beastie was that the animal had

sharp teeth and sharp claws. Jack was acting really bravado. Simon has also been stupid about

going to the moors. I just want to get off tis island already.

Today on the island the aviator came from the sky. The reason we did int notice that there was a war

going on was because first of all we were sleeping and second of all was because we are thinking about

surviving. I don't know why Ralph and everybody would believe sam and eric I mean they re littleuns.

Threre is no such thing as a beastie. They described it as a big creature with claws wings and sharp teeth.

I am with Ralph on the making a plan thing because I think we should be calm about this kind of thing

because we might get into embroiled with the thing. Not like jack wanting to go out and kill it waxy. .

There is no such thing as a leviathan its just an aviator.If it is a dead aviator then the guano would get

to them. Because of whats happening I feel so mutinously.

The things that I have had problems on the island so far thats different then engand is that

everybody keeps getting mad at me after I had got them their food. Just because I let the fire go

down everybody was very blatant. I do like the littleuns. They are the only ones that help me

hunt, even though during the day they just play around and stuff. Simon, Piggy, and Ralph are

just sitting at the sand doing girl work while me and the littleuns are killing pigs. The reason that

me and all of the littleuns painted our faces was becaus I feel that the pig was able to see us.

This basiclly foreshadows the hunters and the non hunters spliting up. When I have the

paintings on my face I feel very brave and wild. The reason that the ship could not see us was

because Me and Maurice couldnot keep the fire going. After Killing the pig I was so tierd I just

needed gouts of water. When I killed the pig I was impalapable. Nobody was going to make me

feel sad for the pig because I really wanted to kill that pig. I did not need a balm or anything I

just needed myself. Even though I was acting belliferance I felt good about it. I feel like me and

ralph are going to be malevolenty

Piggy

I think that this is a pretty good island because we have good vegetation,

food and water. I don’t know why that little kid went into the woods I mean if

he saw the snake, or what he calls it the beastie. The beastie basically

symbolizes fear and caution to the island This doesn’t really scare me it just

makes me feel more cautious of where I step, but I am scared that the other

kids might get bit. I really don’t have a plan for getting rescued but I just

want everyone on the island to be safe and to act more mature. For example

today in when jack Simon and Ralph went on the expedition all the kids went

to the forest and the one little kid might have died because the beastie. I do

want to get rescued bur before that happens I have to be mature and I have

to be officious. I think it was a a pretty good idea to make a fire and I helped

because I used my specs. The kids were acting really crazy though when they

went to go get the wood all at once. Hopefully I can get Ralph induced to

make the kids more mature. I think I am the smartest kid on the island

because I am more mature. When I go to sleep I am scared but I don’t panic
because then I wont be able to live in this Island.

Ralph

The Island was very tropical and beutifull. That didnt matter right now though. Right now what

matters is doing my best job at being leader of the island. By doing this I have to know every

single area on this island. Next to us there is the jungle, in front of us is the lagoon, and out in the

distance is the coral reef.

It was really crazy when we crashed off of the plane. Thats the main reason we are here. It was

kind of scary when we crashed, I didint know where we were at until I mett piggy.

My name is ralph, and my dad is in the navy. I am 12 year old and, people say Im pretty well

built for my age. So far I have mett piggy jack and simon. Piggy the guy I mett first, is a pretty

nice guy. Hes fat, has ashmat, and is not to confident about himself. Jack on the other hand, is

the leader of the choir, hes a jerk hes bossy, and hes the leader of the hunters because he has a

knife. Simon is kind of weird. Out of nowhere sometimes he just faints.

The reason there are no adults on the island is because it was a boys childrens choir.

When you have the conch you have alot of power. Whoever has the conch has power because you

are the leader and you can call the meetings and stuff.

The choir is basiclly a group of boys that are trying to set up there own government. Jack is the

leader of the hunters because he has the knife and I am in charge of the whole choir because

I found the conch shell. I think the good qualities that I have with the choir is im built and I

wont get tierd.
